The activity aims at improving feature film screenplays through a process of intense re-writing from first or subsequent draft to final draft. In the same time it applies a project-specific approach in order to help participating scripts to set up an effective strategy for realization (pitching& presentation, financing, production, marketing and distribution).
The activity is an evolution of MFI Script Workshops, one of the most successful European programs in the field of script development, whose track record includes numerous produced – and awarded – films, such as "Nowhere inAfrica" by German writer/director Caroline Link (Oscar for Best Foreign Film 2003).
MFI Script 2 Film Workshops is supported by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union.
