Caro Onorevole Presidente del Consiglio,
Dott. Enrico Letta,
desidero postarle questa semplice allarmata lettera di un produttore inglese* con il quale stiamo discutendo la possibilità di attrarre il suo film - un investimento superiore ai 7 milioni di euro - in Puglia, a proposito di cosa significhi confermare, rilanciare e stabilizzare il tax credit.
Come comprenderà, se non giungono da parte sua immediate rassicurazioni, l'Italia non perderà solo il proprio immaginario, la propria capacità creativa, ma soprattutto la sua credibilità internazionale.
Lascio a Lei ogni ulteriore capacità interpretativa.

Buongiorno Silvio,
I am sure you are obviously all aware of yesterday's 'tax credit' announcement by the new Italian prime minister, Enrico Letta.
These are pretty shocking news, - in case this is indeed becoming a reality.
Our team is wondering though, if this is a government measurement kicking in with immediate effect, or is this meant for the beginning of 2014 or by the end of 2014 ...?  Do you have any more precise information here?  You can imagine this would have a huge effect on our project, and in case the tax credit is axed now we might indeed have to consider taking "*****" to a different country.  Something we so not want to do!  But our investors are firmly sold on the tax credit benefit in Italy (or otherwise elsewhere for that matter). It's part of the overall financing schedule ...
BTW, I had a great conversation with our friend ***, who only had the very best to say about you guys, and also says hello.
