Call for PugliaExperience 2010

Are you a student or young professionist under 36 years old who works or has advanced training in scriptwriting, directing or producing for Cinema and Television? Do you come from the EU or a Mediterranean country such as Egypt, Turkey or Morocco? If so, please have a look on the website www.apuliafilmcommission.it and look for pugliaexperience-apulia audiovisual workshop: we are organizing a tuition-free, international travelling workshop for creative screenwriting and story pitching. The director of the work is Amedeo D'Adamo (Dir-Prod & founding dean and former President of the Los Angeles Film School). The participants will be immersed in the life of Apulia as part of a traveling story workshop for creating ideas for feature films. The workshop, which will be held in English, will also meet and share experiences with important European filmmmakers. The workshop, which is limited to 16 students and will run from October to, also focuses on how to pitch to producers and will conclude with a pitching session with film producers.  Participants will retain the rights to their stories, and one story chosen by the producers will be offered a development fund by the Apulian Film Commission. All food, lodging and travel (with certain travel restrictions) is paid for. For information, please visit: www.apuliafilmcommission.it. The only addition I can think of is to add a short, Romantic-sounding piece on the travel thru Apulia, such as: The participants will be immersed in the life of Apulia, visiting abandoned lighthouses, sailing with local fishermen, talking with witches, all as part of a traveling story workshop for creating ideas for feature films.
Deadline to submit your application is 12 pm (Rome GMT) on July 28th 2010.
