The Messapica Film Festival is the first film festival in the city of Mesagne completely dedicated to the world of women. The festival celebrates the tenacity and willpower of the Messapian woman and alludes to the centrality of the female image in the contemporary. The festival focuses on female author cinema and women's cinema, with films and documentaries from all over Europe.
