Al via la III edizione del workshop di scrittura internazionale AAW PugliaExperience

È iniziata oggi al Cineporto di Bari, la terza edizione di Puglia Experience il workshop internazionale di sceneggiatura itinerante che attraverserà tutta la regione per le prossime tre settimane. Puglia Experience si concluderà il 21 ottobre a Bari con il Pitching Day, una giornata in cui i partecipanti avranno la preziosa occasione di sottoporre le storie scritte durante il workshop a 49 produttori internazionali nella splendida location del Terminal Crociere.

Puglia Experience è promosso dalla Regione Puglia, finanziato con risorse del Fondo europeo di sviluppo regionale (PO FESR Puglia 2007 - 2013, Asse IV, Azione 4.3.1. Invitation

Are you a film student or young film professional under 36 years old who works or has advanced training in scriptwriting, directing or producing for Cinema and Television? Do you come from the EU, a Mediterranean country such as Egypt, Israel, Turkey or Morocco, or a neighboring arabic country? If so, you qualify to apply for an all-expense-paid writing fellowship organized by the Apulia Film Commission, promoted by the Puglia Region and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF Puglia 2007 - 2013, Axis IV). This entirely free international traveling workshop for creative screenwriting and story pitching ends in a professional Pitching session with 25+ working Producers; last year four projects were purchased or optioned from our fellows. The participants will be immersed in the life of Apulia as part of a traveling story workshop for creating ideas for feature films. The workshop, which will be held in English, is limited to 16 students and will run from October 2nd to the 21st; the Scientific Director of the workshop is Amedeo D’Adamo (Dir-Prod & founding dean and former President of the Los Angeles Film School). One story chosen by the film commission will also be offered a development fund. Participants will retain the rights to their stories. All lodging, meals and travel is paid for by the Apulia Film Commission.
The standards for judging applications will be as follows; in addition to possessing a competency in spoken english, students will be judged based on their cvs and a feature script; materials should be in English. The deadline for applications is August 5th, and there is no application fee.

Si precisa che, a chiarimento di quanto indicato all’art. 5 (Application Pack) del bando di selezione per PugliaExperience 2011 nell’ambito del progetto Apulia Audiovisual Workshop, nel caso in cui il candidato non disponga di una sceneggiatura di lungometraggio interamente tradotta in lingua inglese, sarà sufficiente inviarne le prime 20 pagine. Resta salvo l’invio del soggetto in lingua inglese.
